PWS MK1 MOD2-M Rifle Lower May 30, 2023 Reviewer: Iowa Veteran Weapon Developer from Homestead, IA   I have four recent PWS rifles. Two are 2020 BRN-180s, a 2023 Mk 218 in 6.5 CM, and a 2023 Mk 114 Mod 2 in 223.  All of my PWS products are fine rifles, and easily comparable to my LWRC M6A3, LMT, HK, FN, GWOT era Colt 6920, IWI, CZ, and others. My perspective comes from three decades in the defense industry developing new weapons and seven years in the US Army.  While I'm not overly fond of proprietary components, I understand the process required to enhance existing designs to make improvements. The Mk 1 Mod 2 is a quality piece of hardware that is quite light, and comparable to my composite Bren 2 MS.  If I had to run out the door after grabbing only one rifle, it would be a PWS.
