My buddies and I did not observe the typical blast or concussion (10.5: 300BLK supers). Of course, it was still extremely loud. Fortress service is certainly top-notch.

I've purchased a couple of times from Fortress Tactical, and have always had good service and quick shipping with the exception of this time. When I received the PWS CQB, I took it out of the package and noticed the finish was missing in areas of the device. I reached out to Mike's email twice with no response. It was after the holidays, so maybe he was really backed up but it is now two weeks later. Does this missing finish impact the performance? Probably not, but to me it definitely looks like it was a factory second or not QA'd properly. I was under the impression this was a new part. I won’t stop ordering from this company, because most of the time they do a really excellent job, but every now and again things happen and I understand that.

The CQB device works as advertised. I used it after installation while hunting, and it didn’t cause my ears to ring. I don’t advocate for shooting without ear pro, but I don’t wear earplugs while hunting.
