The Caracal USA CAR816 A2 upper receiver group (URG) chambered in 5.56 NATO features 11.5 inch 4150 CMV barrel, short-stroke piston system, three-position adjustable gas valve, monolithic anti-tilt carrier, Carpenter 158 bolt and MLOK handguard. A push-button gas valve rotation allows easy front removal of piston assembly.

Had fast shipping and took the upper out to the range soon as I got it. Put 150 rounds through it on the first trip to get it sighted in. Seems over gassed even without the suppressor and a H3 buffer, but it was 100% reliable. May try a stronger Sprinco spring next time out. Upper stayed cool and clean due to the piston system. Had no problems hitting steel at 400 yards with M193 ammo.
